This test method evaluates the relative effectiveness of metal preservatives in preventing rust on steel panels under high humidity conditions. Panels are prepared to a specified surface finish, dipped in the test media, and suspended in a humidity cabinet equipped with a rotating stage, maintained at 120 °F (49 °C) for a specified number of hours.
